If you want to be reminded of something that happens once a month (pay taxes, electricity, rent, other bills, pick up your salary...) or once a year (birthday, holiday, anniversary...), than you need to make a Recurring event. If you enter only day field (dd) with blank fields for month (mm) and year (yyyy) then you made once a month recurring event, but if you enter both day (dd) and month (mm) fields without year field (yyyy) then you made once a year recurring event. If you enter all fields (dd, mm and yyyy), then you made Onetime event. Recurring events are the most common events you will make. In this example, on May 15th every year at 00:00h (beginning of the day) you will get message alarm (if Show message text is checked in alarm actions) that repeats every 5 minutes. On that day, and every of 10 days before (Days Notice = 10) you will get warning of upcoming event in Viewer.
