One of Reminder's main features is to remind you of upcoming events whenever you switch on or reboot your computer. If there are any events for that day, Viewer form is shown, otherwise only Reminder's tray icon is added to taskbar. It doesn't matter if there are alarms attached to some events or not - Viewer will show all of them.
